Privacy Policy

TweetX is built by independent creators and we take privacy seriously. This page is the plain-English explanation of what data we collect, why, where we store it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account data: email, name, and authentication metadata when you sign up.
• X (Twitter) tokens: OAuth access tokens for each X account you connect. Stored encrypted at rest. We never see your X password.
• Content you create: drafts, schedules, AI persona training data, analytics snapshots.
• Usage data: page views, button clicks, and performance metrics, via Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. No third-party advertising trackers.

What we do not collect

• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads).
• We do not read direct messages on X.
• The Chrome extension only activates inside x.com. It does not read other tabs or sites.

Where data lives

User data is stored in Supabase (Postgres + encrypted storage), hosted in the EU and US regions. Web traffic is served via Vercel. AI calls are routed through our backend; the underlying model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) process content per the prompts you generate but do not retain it for model training under our enterprise agreements.

Your rights

You can export every byte we have on you, or delete your account entirely (data wiped within 30 days of request), from your dashboard or by emailing hello@tweetx.ai.

If you are a UK or EU resident, you have GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection. We respond to GDPR requests within 30 days. California residents have equivalent CCPA rights.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for authentication. We use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track users across sites. No third-party advertising cookies.

Children

TweetX is not intended for users under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
